Daily Mopping

Can wooden floors be mopped daily?

Yes, but don’t use harmful chemicals.

The most frequently asked question when it comes to wooden floor maintenance is “What if I spill water on the floor?”

To that our answer is, use water to mop your floors every day.

Wood is a very durable material and the coatings that are done on top of it give them extra protection.

To maintain the floors, we recommend brooming/vacuuming followed by mopping with a damp cloth. This ensures that there is no dirt build up on the floor, keeping your floors clean and hygienic.

The most important thing to note here is: DO NOT USE GENERAL PURPOSE CLEANERS.

These cleaners usually have a high PH content, which makes them harmful to the coatings that are used to protect your wooden floors.

If mopping with water is not doing the job for you, you may use ph neutral cleaners. This will not damage your floor while helping with the removal of tough dirt and stains.
