The floor we see here is Brazilian Cherry, it's a dense and durable hardwood prized for its rich reddish-brown tones that deepen over time. However, over 15 years, these floors have been through a lot. Deep scratches, dents, gaps, and fading polish were just some of the issues. But this wasn't anything our team couldn't handle.
The floors were sanded back to bare wood using the Bona Belt Sander with its dust containment system. This was followed by fine sanding and gap filling, a step most contractors tend to overlook.
We finished off the renovation by applying one coat of Bona Prime Intense and two coats of Bona Mega. The client was very happy with how the floors turned out; it reminded him of a time 15 years ago.
